Super location, easy to get to great beach, lots of good local food choices.

Kitchen facilities are not so good. Very small, and minimally supplied. Good enough for making simple breakfast.

Excellent location, and nice views from the apartments (we stayed in two, because there was work being done above our original booking for the first four nights of seven, and we were relocated to another unit for those days). At least one of the persons on the phone was exceptionally nice and helpful with advice. Convenient parking, although we were told to change parking spots during the course of our visit.

The property managers do not supply any shower soap, shampoo or conditioner; very strange and not at all nice to have to buy these essentials. Also, one of our units had two queen beds, as advertised, but only one of them was made up. We were told that the expectation was that we would be sharing one bed, that we should have explicitly asked for two at booking (there was no option for this!), and we were guilted by appeal to need to save water and electricity before the property finally relented and made up the second bed. One of the units we stayed in had really substandard beach chairs, but the property provided one replacement for us, and the provided camp chairs were ok on the beach.

It was affordable in a very expensive location. The beds were fabulous. Everything was very clean. The owners were delightful to work with when necessary. It was in the middle of everything and accessible to anything you might want.

There was no easy way to cook. We ate every meal out. Everything was not new and not easy to use and operate. I am glad we had the opportunity to stay there, but would not again. But I have no plans to visit Oahu again either. My last visit was 53 years ago and the ensuing years have not been kind to the area.

The views were wonderful and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed being so close to the beach and all of the restaurants and activities. The building has nice security and we felt very safe staying here. I also like how the host was able to include parking with our rental for an extra fee.

The unit is very dated. The A/C is ancient, but it works to a degree. The host reminded us several times about when to operate it, which was annoying. Even though we followed the all of the directions the first time. Sometimes, the toilet makes a loud terrible sound when it flushes. Also, it is an old building. One elevator was broken for a several days during our stay. This made a lengthy line for the other elevator. The unit has a fire alarm; however, it does not have a fire sprinkler system. The other appliances in the unit worked well. The bedding could be updated. It was worn, cheap and most of pillows were flattened. Finally, there is no sound proofing for this unit. Nights in Waikiki in this area are very noisy outside. Also, the roosters will wake you in the morning :) We heard everything.
