West Broadway Quarters by Thatch

The Thatcher on Broadway has an excellent location, directly across from Broadway Station on the Red Line. It’s just one stop from South Station, making it very convenient for getting around Boston.

The wooden floors are not very soundproof, so footsteps can be quite loud and easily heard from other rooms. The hot water temperature in the bathroom is inconsistent, which can make showering a bit uncomfortable.

Couldn't control air, very hot and humid at night.

Very clean, comfortable bed. Great location, just walk across the street and the subway is there. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, coffee shops and markets. Room was very small, clean, comfortable. There was a window but no view. Booked it for the cheap price and location to subway so was very happy. Parking garage a 5 minute walk away, we left the car there. My only complaint is that my body temp runs hot, and I couldn't lower the temp, it was set at 73.

Great location but be vigilant with selecting your room...

Room 206 is extremely loud with noise from an air handling unit outside and people out around the bins. We tried dealing with this the first few nights but we felt very sick as there is no air con in the room either and it being extremely small space for 2 people with luggage. We asked if we could move rooms for the remaining few nights and as there is no staff on site, we emailed and it was ignored. I followed up again and I didnt get a response til after we checked out. This was not a difficult request. As a result, we had to move into the apartment with my brother and sleep on the sofa bed. We could not stay in room 206. I requested a refund and was refused it with no reasoning behind it.
