House on Chase Creek

The house is old and has been restored. I appreciate that the owners kept and reused the original wood trim. The room is beautifully decorated and appointed. The location is great; I could walk to most of what I wanted to do.

Absolutely nothing. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Breakfast is no longer served which the host told me when I confirmed my reservation. The location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The host, Bill, was friendly, kind and full of recommendations for dining and sights to see on the island. We stayed in Room #1 which was very large with a king size bed and a view of the creek. The best thing was just relaxing on the porch swing and enjoying the quiet and stillness. I highly recommend staying here and I plan on going back again.

I didn't notice any smoke detectors.

The location was beautiful and quiet yet still close to everything in town. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the creek and sat in Adirondack chairs next to it for morning coffee. Bill the host was very accommodating and gave great advice for where to go. He has owned the house since 1989 and has great knowledge of the island. 10/10!!
