Staff as friendly and location was good. Bathroom was very clean.
The inn is old and tired. The furniture is very cheap and no sense of design.

We like the breakfast, cooked individually for each guest. Nice tub, large tv, comfy beds.
We arrived at night and we wished the sign for inn had a light on it. We passed it twice.

Staff were helpful and nice, the breakfast was amazing, the bed, sheets and pillows were super comfy.
I didn’t like the small shower, but not that big of a deal.

Cinnamon Bear was a lovely little place for a couple of nights in Sonoma! We stayed in The Cottage which was a separate little annex behind the main building, and it was so lovely! The staff were very friendly, breakfast included in the morning was delicious and the little wine reception in the evening was a great addition to an already delightful stay! Not a bad word to say about our stay - only wish we could’ve stayed longer!
Nothing, our entire experience was brilliant!

Excellent location to explore Sonoma / Napa and extremely good value with a freshly cooked breakfast as part of the package price and a glass of wine offered late afternoon. Staff are very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. My only negatives would be that the bathroom in our room was rather ‘tired’ and parts of the exterior, around the garden areas and outside seating could also do with a bit of love.

Comfortable bed and large shower.
Very narrow driveway and limited parking. TV required streaming service access but there was no way to change user. A prior customer had logged in to their service which did not include over the air TV networks. I wanted to watch the World Series on Fox, but could not log the prior customer out so I could login.
I suggest you automatically sign a customer out when they check out.

The location was good and walkable into Sonoma. The outside area was nice. The wine reception was a nice touch but the woman hosting didn’t seem very keen and didn’t get involved/converse with any guests. It was unclear whether we could help ourselves to more wine or whether we were supposed to ask.
The rooms were not very clean, especially in more hidden areas such as blinds etc. My main issue is with breakfast. When I arrived, the host asked if we had any dietary requirements and I informed them I was vegetarian. When we went for breakfast the next day, there was no explanation of what would be served for breakfast and then a woman who didn’t speak English brought me breakfast with meat on the top. I find it crazy to go for breakfast and not be greeted or have a menu/choice of options but to not even be told what you’re being given is worse. I told the woman I was vegetarian but she didn’t understand and had to get someone else. Eventually they took my breakfast and brought me one without sausage, but it was cold and fairly small without the meat. I think the hotel really needs to have a host for breakfast to at least discuss with guests how breakfast works/what they are having rather than just having food brought to you with no communication.

The room was charming and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. And the breakfast was a highlight for sure. It was quite sweet overall.
I arrived after dark and found it difficult to find because the sign was not lit up. I found it awkward to arrive and not have any direction as to where my room was. And I would have preferred to have a deadbolt lock on the door.

Great property with nice grounds. I lived in Sonoma for over 20 years and never realized how nice this place is. Good breakfast, wine shared, nice staff -- it's a winner. Had a cottage room with a good bed and bath. Highly recommended.

The lobby was cute.
Most everything was not as advertised. The carpet in the shared hall way was disgusting. The shared restroom smelled terrible (the door was left open and the smell leaked into the hall way and I had to use it when our room was not ready for early check in). Our room sheets smelled so awful (I don’t know of it was the detergent used but the smell didn’t allow me to sleep). We paid for breakfast not knowing it was not served until 8:30 am and we had an early flight so that was a waste. We had to search for our key and call an emergency line because we couldn’t check in early so ended up having to check in late and the front desk had already left and had locked my medicine in the back room. While they did bring it to me after multiple calls, this is a very inefficient way to provide hospitality. I was looking forward to our stay but will never stay here again. Even the outdoor space was run down and unpleasant. It was a terrible experience.

Nice big TV.
No smoke alarm and refused to get one. Not even from a room that was not rented out. Salami, cheese, and crackers were a joke. Brie was cut in 1/2 horizontally then cut into wedges, the crackers were saltines (really? Couldn't go to the $1.00 store?!), salami was fine. The wine tasting was not a tasting as you could only try a white OR red, and I've had more wine in my glass at a winery! Breakfast? If you like enough syrup on your pancakes that barely covers one of the cakes, let alone 2! The link sausage were pale, not browned, coffee/juice was ok. This was supposed to be a B&B! The grounds were unkempt. Lots of potential...I'll leave it at that.
The smoke alarm refusal shocked me. Didn't even try!! Then I was told if we left by 7pm we could have our money back for rest of the week. We got out of room and when I went to the office I was informed that I had to call Booking and get reimbursement for the rest of our stay. Why was I told that I would get my $$ back from CBCI? Jeez. Happy to leave. Never to return!

The bed was perfect. Firm with good support. The TV was huge.
There was quit a bit of noise from the other occupants in the wee hours. Really not unexpected when traveling... just annoying.

The staff and location

The breakfast was definitely better than I expected! Really lovely continental breakfast with a glass of wine upon arrival. The mattress and bed was very comfortable as well. Very close to downtown Sonoma so perfect for wine tasting / grabbing a bite to eat!
The walls were a little thin but nothing too crazy.

The included breakfast every morning was absolutely amazing. The rooms were spacious and clean.
We knew the location of this place but didn’t factor in how hard it would be to get an uber or taxi late at night, so just something to be mindful of when booking.

Comfortable bed, quiet, private. Was able to check in a few hours early which was a great surprise. Free parking.
The room could have used a little attention to detail (broken blinds, bathroom a bit dated, spider webs on the patio)

Loved the outdoor spaces. Also, really lovely breakfast each day. Great location - easy walk down to the plaza. Staff were all wonderful.

This charming and affordable place was a gem! How lovely that they served breakfast, too.
I suppose the location could be a little closer to downtown, but honestly the drive was so short and easy. No real complaints!
6.0 / 10.0
The bed was comfortable. We appreciated that some vegetables were cooked for our breakfast, since we are vegetarian/vegans.
Only one of the bedside lamps worked, the other was not even able to be plugged in, and there was no outlet at all on that side of the bed. When we asked for an extension cord, the person on duty said she couldn’t find one. The backyard area was not at all as described online. The set up was barely functional for relaxed seating and the whole setting was very odd.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were really comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable.
One room didn’t have a full length mirror. The parking spaces were a little tight but we figured it out.
4.0 / 10.0
The location is great being only 5-6 blocks from Sonoma Square and other facilities and shopping.
We had a very small room and there was NO full length mirror anywhere. just a tiny mirror in bathroom. Many people come for weddings and events like us and to not have a mirror was just disappointing. No normal tea like breakfast or early gray just three herbal teas ( which were never used) Breakfast was very so so and as a tourist town could certainly offer much better. White bread only no whole-wheat , no granola or musulei or anything health conscous. scrambled eggs with horrible small piece of sausage ( about a 1/3 of a sausage cut in half. Very nickel and dime like feeling.

We didn’t use them but the outdoor spaces looked nice. Friendly staff.
The room was quite tired and bathroom could have been cleaner. A section of the door blind missing so the light disturbed us in the morning.

Comfortable bed and breakfast conveniently located near downtown Sonoma. The rooms were spacious and the grounds were well kept.
9.0 / 10.0
This place had a great location, comfortable accommodation and very friendly staff with freshly made breakfast ( a little different every day) and complimentary glass of wine in the evening.
We stayed in the detached cottage which had a small fridge/freezer, plenty of hot water in the shower, smart TV with lots of options and a mini-split ac unit that worked nicely. There were also several outdoor areas that were very comfortable. All in all, it was a great value for the price and close enough to downtown Sonoma for a nice visit.
On rare occasion, you might hear street noise from particularly loud vehicles-but not sure there is anything any property could about that.

More comfortable seating in our room. Only 1 chair and it was a tall chair, no table.

The staff were so nice and welcoming.
Our room was not well ventilated. The bathroom had visible mold on the wall and did not dry out well after the shower was used.

The staff, food and bed were all fantastic.
It's an older property and our shower door needs to be replaced....just accumulated wear and tear so it's tired

It was clean
The breakfast was not as advertised. Keurig coffee, a piece of white toast, generic apple juice from the store, thin bacon and a tiny bit of plain scrambled eggs
4.0 / 10.0
Breakfast was barely adequate. I expect much better from a B& B
The shower could have worked. No thermostat to control the temperature in the Ms Holiday room. It was a cold night.
10.0 / 10.0
Very comfortable room and facilities. Wine tasting and snacks in the afternoon was a nice touch. The grounds with outdoor seating areas, right beside the creek... wonderful. Breakfast was great.
No black tea for those non-coffee drinkers.
No propane in the heaters outside.
10.0 / 10.0
Staff was very friendly, free wine hour, and our room (the downstairs suite) was huge! And seemed totally new/remodeled and redecorated. Parking was convenient and breakfast was nice.
Would’ve been nice to have one more breakfast item like a pancake or sausage.
