The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Location was very convenient. We enjoyed the breakfast - good selection.
We didn't realize there wasn't an elevator so climbing the stairs was difficult with an arthritic knee. We would have requested a ground floor room had we know when we booked, but it wasn't a dealbreaker.

The Hotel is beautiful. The property is on the main hey through town so easy to find and close to everything a person could need.

Rooms clean- Great breakfast choices- Accommodation available for my service dog in training.
Hallways a bit tight when meeting other people while using my walker.

Great shower and water pressure, better-than-average continental breakfast, everything was very clean. Great location to stay to see a Des Moines Metro Opera production.
Everything feels bare-bones. Skimpy pillows, creaky bed, harsh lighting.
