Excellent service and great location

The location is excellent we were two blocks from the Main Street Duval. The breakfast is amazing and it is delivered to each room. The room we choose was small but efficient.

Next time I would choose a larger room. The porch in front of our room was right on the street great for people watching. The garden/pool area is beautiful tho.

Small pool could be heated (with solar), no Netflix, Breakfast basket was cute but unexpected, with lots of packaging. What does one do with two boiled eggs and no salt and pepper? Coffee service was not explained and not well maintained.

Much needed vacation weekend.

Our room was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. We wanted a golf cart and they got one delivered. We will be back to Ella's Cottages when we visit the Keys.

Perfect choice for a stay in old town, walking distance to restaurats and very close to all the beaches

The staff were very friendly! Nura was so lovely and made sure we were taken care of at all times! I loved that we could be in touch with them via text. The cottages were clean and beautiful and the location was amazing.

I didnt like the couch in the cottage, it was old and wasnt comfortable but we were barely there sitting on the couch so it didnt matter. The breakfast also has room for improvement.

Great location and a pleasant stay

The staff was great and Dwight at the front desk was very helpful and helped with guiding us and had all the answers we asked. Also the woman that check us in was very helpful with guiding us and coming out to the street the first day to help us find the location

Smaller room with larger suite cases and charging port on other side of bed would have been nice and possibly a trash can in bathroom or maybe a larger one or added trash cans just suggestions but we made it work and would absolutely recommend hands down

Photogenic, comfortable, quiet, and convenient.

The concierge, Dante, was a breath of fresh air. He was so pleasant and made our stay feel so amazing. He would actively go out of his way to make sure that we were happy and had a great stay. We were only there for a single night and yet that felt like a whole vacation in itself. Location was perfectly in the middle of everything, but still extremely calm and quiet. Convenient to have parking. The pool was so cute and the whole property is gorgeously photogenic. One unusual bonus was the ice and water dispenser, with cups, that really put the cherry on top after walking all day in the sun.

I would stay there for months if I only could😁

Beautiful, cozy hotel, very well maintained, extremely friendly and helpful staff (greetings to Alex from the front desk! ). We had a spacious room with a marvellous porch, allowing to enjoy the beauty of Key West’s nature and vibe, and to have a breakfast. Our kids (and ourselves as well) had great fun in the pool surrounded by palms and vibrant nature. The cottages are close to the Duvall Street and to many other attractions of KW.

Magical stay in Key West

Beautiful and cosy hotel with kind and welcoming staff. I really couldn’t recommend it enough. The pool area was clean and beautiful and never busy because guests are always put exploring. The porches for each property are so lovely and it felt like being part of historic key west. Within walking distance to all shops and restaurants too.

Great place to bring your wife or girlfriend, but not together.

The Room was very nice. I was off the road and in the back bungalow, so it was quiet. The bed was King size and the couch and living area was in from of the bed. The bathroom was very large. I wish I knew there a refrigerator in the room, that should tell you how camouflaged it was. I loved the jungle feel walking through the property. Its so close to Duvall and the food, drink and atmosphere.

The last morning, I checked out and I was hearing a barking dog in the next room. I am glad I was leaving. The pool is small and too hot to stay in very long.

If You’re Going to Key West Make Your Reservation at Ella’s Now

Everything! We’ve stayed in many places, mostly very good ones, but this one was so exceptional we could go on and on about it. The location was wonderful, close to everything we wanted to see-very walkable. The room was VERY clean, not a speck of dust. Breakfasts were delicious. All staff we encountered were friendly, but Dwight was amazing! He welcomed us and calmed us from our “ getting into town “ nerves. He was SO helpful. He showed us all around the premises and shared all kinds of helpful information about sights, restaurants, etc. Excellent person and employee!!

Lovely historic inn. Wonderful breakfast and friendly staff!

The inn is lovely and quaint. The breakfast baskets were great! The room was clean, but small. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. There is parking on site but for a fee. The hotel is close to everything but not so close that you will hear all the noise - in fact it was quite quiet!

Front desk needs to formalize late checkout agreements.

Location was great. Wonderful healthy breakfasts, with fresh fruit daily.

Upon the standard checkout time the host, whom had agreed to giving me a late checkout, hounded me to leave the property. My room access was cutoff even prior to the standard checkout time. I had to ask to gain entrance to gather my luggage. Once I was granted access, no more than 5 minutes later, he text asking if I had left yet. On my way out, I reminded him of our previous two discussions and his agreement to the later checkout time. He took no responsibility for his oversight, somehow it was on me for not reminding him of our conversations. This interaction completely changed my view of the property.

Great room, awesome bed, nice roomy bathroom, two top quality tvs, nice breakfast brought to the room each morning. Comfy sitting area, makeup desk with mirror, historic site that is not touristy.

The pool is tiny not like it looked on booking. It was clean and there were lots of chairs and lounges but the pool was disappointing.

Wonderful property, quaint rooms and friendly staff

Clean, on quieter street, but one block from Duval Super friendly staff. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. We had street side room, so we got a little more road noise. Window AC units worked great, somewhat loud, but I could deal with that for a cold room. Good value and breakfast each morning was included. They also had tea time each day.

Small pool and people not rinsing off before getting in. Left oily sunscreen film on top of water, kinda of grossed me out. Not the properties fault, just guest not following ruled posted by pool

Wonderful

The property is unique and so close to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In addition to the continental breakfast, the afternoon tea was a nice touch with some great treats! Loved how we could walk to all of our destinations.

The bathroom in the room could've been cleaner. There were dirt stains in a few places along the bathroom walls. The window unit A/C worked okay, but it would be a huge plus if they could get the central air working again. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Lovely, tropical grounds. Perfect area near Duval.

The bed was very comfortable. AC and ceiling fan awesome. Really enjoyed the breakfast bar and the coffee was outstanding. Usually very weak but not here.

The room and the bathroom were too small. There was very limited space for our one suitcase.
