About this apartment rental
Nice decorated and fully equipped four stars Apartment Arcadia is suitable for shorter and longer stay in Rijeka, during the year and the summer season. Artistic designed interior will satisfy even the most demanding guests. You will have complete privacy in 60 square meters apartment with one bedroom with a double bed, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, oven) connected to the living room. In living room with two sofas, two people can sleep on pull-out sofa. You will enjoy bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Clean towels and bed linen will be at your disposal. WiFi, a hairdryer and iron are also available, as well as washing machine.
It is located in a building on 5th floor (no elevator), with balcony and all windows overlooking the Adriatic sea and the Kvarner Bay. It is located in very quiet neighborhood near the pedestrian zone downtown. A parking place is not provided, but parking is available in a public parking near the building. There are few food stores, a bakery, the bank and several coffee shops right across the street . Pharmacy and BUS stop is 50 meters near. Close to the beaches, islands and historic resort of Opatija will make your stay unforgettable.

We really appreciated how tidy and nice the apartment was. And the jacuzzi! We so enjoyed the view (totally worth the climb!).

Enjoyed our stay. Bedroom stayed very dark, so great to be able sleep in. Easy walking distance to a few different grocery stores. Nice view of the water. We also enjoyed watching football practice in the evenings from the balcony.
Note that parking was not easy, at least for those of us who are not as accustomed to city parking. We parked about 10 minutes away in a parking garage. Can get a weekly pass for 50 euros, so not a bad deal. Be prepared to climb. Definitely an uphill walk from the parking garage to the apartment entrance, and then five floors to the room. If you are in reasonable shape, should not be a problem.
The location of Rijeka was great for day trips into Slovenia (i.e., Predjama Castle, Postojna Cave), as well as day trips within Croatia (Pula, Rovinj, Opatija, Krk, etc.)
Can't beat the price, especially when you consider the comfort, cleanliness, and amenities that come with the apartment. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was in a great location. Wonderful restaurant across the street. Only complaint were the 5 floors of steps. Not included in the description.

Das Appartement ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Da wir über Silvester und Neujahr da waren, haben wir es sehr geschätzt, dass es bereits bei der Ankunft angenehm warm beheizt war. Die Küche ist toll ausgestattet - wer mag, kann sich hier sehr gut selbst versorgen (vorausgesetzt er mag alle Lebensmittel 110 Stufen hinauftragen). Die Aussicht vom kleinen Balkon ist ein Traum. Ein Manko ist die Parkplatzsituation - wenn man einen Parkplatz ergattert hat, ist es am besten, nie wieder wegzufahren.
