Lovely old Victorian building, three floors high! Located across the street from a lovely stretch of beach. We enjoyed the early evening Wine and cheese offerings,absolutely fabulous breakfasts and very nice staff. Very quiet at night-a plus for us as we like having the windows open.
Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach bikes are readily available and we took advantage of them every day.
While our third floor King Room 14 had a window view of the ocean, we couldn’t really hear the waves as there was a continuous circulating floor air purifier or A/C that drowned out the ocean. We paid more for an ocean view, so that was a bit of a disappointment.
The bed was nice but with a weird assortment of lumpy pillows. Upgrading them would be a nice touch especially for almost $500 a night.
Also, our bathroom door had a weird hook/latch to close instead of a normal doorknob.
