Loved the pool and hot tub. Very clean and well maintained. Front desk person was awesome, so friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfy. It was easy to find the hotel and easy to get from there to other spots either north or south. Great view of Lake Michigan and it looked like an easy access to the beach (although across a very busy road). I bet in the summertime this is a terrific place to stay.
I had asked for a King Suite and all we got was a basic room with a small sofa in it. The bathroom area was dated and a little cramped. The room heater was very noisy and made some really strange noises so it was hard to watch TV or sleep. There was only a sheet and a cover on the bed so we were cold in the night. We had to ask at the front desk for a blanket as there was not one in the room at all. We were to stay 3 nights, but we left after 2 nights. Quite disapoointed in the room.
