That it was rusted and the age and style preserved and liked the patio next to my room on the second floor as well I enjoyed the antique furniture. Also I could watch the Washington state ferries come and go from my room all times of the day and evening.
The toilet quit working during the first of the stay but the good thing staff put me in a even better room so that actually this was above and beyond their call of duty so I appreciated the gesture. The second room was an even better room. The house is large and has a lot of rooms beyond the first floor. Nice building but it for the younger and able bodied due to length and number steps for each floor.

This is a historic property that has intentionally chosen details to add to the charm of each room. Located right above the ferry landing, it has beautiful views and destination location. You are welcomed with a personalized welcome note and treat in your room upon arrival. The restaurant has fantastic food and drinks, and the owners and staff treat you like family.
No elevator to the rooms, so that might limit some guests.

Breakfast sandwich was good. We arrived at 8:05 pm with the ferry. Everything in that area is closed. Our room did not have a kettle to make tea or coffee. The Cafe at hotel closes at 8 pm, there was cookies and water in the room.
That there was no kettle to make tea or coffee in the room. The trundle bed was awful, it sloped. Better to take it out or renew mattress.
