The Tunnicliff Inn

Great spot. Friendly host there when I arrived. Easy check-in and clear instructions on access. Free parking and advice on where else to park if needed. Location could not be better: right downtown, 2-minute walk to the Hall of Fame, the baseball field, and excellent restaurants. The building & bedroom were exactly as expected. I like the earlier review that said that if you want a Marriot, stay in a Marriot. This is older: it's also clean, well kept and has everything you need. I really liked the place, strongly recommend it, and would absolutely stay there again.

Central location.

Floor levels changed a bit with each addition to the structure required attention, but nothing prohibitively unless wheelchair bound, it is a historic structure after all.

The location was super. It was in the heart of Cooperstown only 498 steps from the Hall of Fame. Eateries were in very easy walking distance.

It would have added to the experience if coffee and tea were available with cups and cream/sugar, but the coffee shop was right across the street.

Having never been to Cooperstown, I was happy to be right. Main Street area. Across the street is a wonderful breakfast coffee business. We were also close to the lake.

Although we didn't lose our parking spot, parking was very limited for the hotel. The staff was helpful but might even their accents but they just seem a little bit condensing and abrupt. This is very minor. We did enjoy our stay.
