The newer Hotel Pratt is a cozy hotel, nestled behind the historic Hotel Pratt, one of the older structures in the historic village of Cooperstown, NY. It is just a half a block from Main Street, where one can browse through Main Street shops or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants. It is under 300 feet from the Baseball Hall of Fame and Doubleday Field where the game of baseball was created (according to local legend).

When we arrived the room was ready, it was immaculate. The hosts were very accommodating. The location is perfect. Everything is within a few blocks. Hall of Fame is around the corner, Double Day Field is practically the back yard. Restaurants and bars literally across the street.

Very clean with a perfect location close to town. Parking was easy and unit was walking distance to several shops and restaurants. We met the host CJ, a very nice guy and he gave us some great dining recommendations. Only small suggestions we have is to mount the TV and maybe put in a soft close toilets seat. We would definitely come back.

We needed somewhere to stay for our visit to the baseball hall of fame. Location was great and you get to park your car in the hotels private car park. You are a minutes walk from town. Room was basic but ok. I’m sure there are nicer places to stay but it served our purpose. Washing facilities are not free and are in the basement. Bring dollar bills as there is a change machine. I didn’t see any powder but I had my own anyway.
