Radisson Hotel La Crosse

We did not have a reservation when we arrived but the front desk staff was terrific in getting us booked in one of the few king rooms that face the river. It was a bit rainy and overcast but still we enjoyed looking at the river from our room. We were able to walk around the waterfront and the town easily from the hotel. There are quite a few restaurants, some yummy ice cream parlors, and the beautiful St. Joseph Catholic Church nearby. Bed was comfy. The room had everything we needed. Parking was safe and just in front of the hotel. Self-service coffee in the lobby in the morning was also appreciated! And we liked that we could open our windows in our room for fresh air.

The hotel was quiet and clean. I was pleased to see tiled floors in the rooms; less areas for allergies and detritus. Bed was very comfortable and truly appreciated that the bathroom sink drain plug actually held water (I am amazed at how this is an issue in other hotels). The location was convenient, easy access to downtown and family.

The toilet flush was a startling... wondered if I was disturbing our neighbors with each flush (WHOOSH!!) Housekeeping may want to use actua; glass cleaner on the mirrors instead of general bathroom cleaner as it was streaky and smudgy. But honestly if that's the ony thing I can report...then there's no real issue.

Location, clean, pet friendly

Rooms were clean, close to the Event Center. The bar tender after our even was amazing. Friendly (only friendly staff we encountered), and everyone really enjoyed him.

Staff at the front desk & dining room manager. They were rude and extremely unfriendly. We arrived at 4:00 for a 3:00 check in only to find only one room was ready. Two hours later we went back to check into the other room and still had to wait another 30 minutes. Paid full price for a room we couldn't get into for 3.5 hours after check -in, however were reminded of check out time. We asked to dine, the manager was so rude I'd never go there for a meal.
