I did not know that I have to pay for using ice machine. First time ever I’ve been to many motel and hotel never have to pay for ice machine Also the towels I got was torn and smelled funny.

Great stay, but poor handling of property damage

I recently stayed at this hotel and truly appreciated the excellent cleanliness, the great location, and the discreet staff.

However, my experience was marred by a very frustrating incident. The iron provided in the room was stained, which I realized too late after it had already ruined my shirt. When I brought this to the staff's attention, the only response I received was a simple 'Oh, I'm sorry.' It is unacceptable to provide equipment in such condition and, more importantly, to fail to take any responsibility for the damage caused. While the hotel itself is nice, the lack of accountability regarding this issue was very disappointing.

How pleasant and clean! There were three small tables in the room. We didn't need that many, but it's better to have too many than not enough! There is a large desk and an arm chair. Really nice to have! Everything worked! Nicely updated. The bed is perfect. Not hard and not too soft. I appreciated the hair dryer and coffee pot. We had just stayed at another hotel that did not have any of that... no tables, no chair, no hair dryer, no ice, no coffee pot. So this was very pleasant for the same price range!

The bathroom needs work. Room 110. There is a large Crack towards the back of the tub. It does NOT affect the tub, but it's pretty ugly compared to the rest of the room that was so nice.

Despite some shortcomings it was good value for the price.

I liked the cleanliness and the quality bath, shower and sink as well as the comfortable bed and bed linen. I liked that the a/c fan could be set to run continuously as a/c units that continuously turn on and off interferes with good sleep.

I didn't like that there was no microwave. I didn't like the veneered furniture that looked like cheap assemble yourself furniture from the 1950's and 1960's. I didn't like the very worn armchair that is low down and sinks even further down when you sit in it requiring you to acquire assistance in order to get up and out of it. I didn't like the veneered flooring either. Looks cheap, cold and uninviting. I didn't like that the only space for the luggage holder blocked access to the fridge. I didn't like the cheap plastic toilet seat.

I love my room. I was well rested and the little sink I had in the room was so nice to have microwaved my food and got the chance to clean my dishes in the sink I love to have that every time nice place to chill and just relax.

Sadly the room was actually very nice and well appointed, the bed looked extremely comfortable. But the owners made all of that very ugly.

This was an extremely unpleasant place to stay that I didn’t even stay, I checked out within less than an hour due to being discriminated against! Pulled aside and warned that I was going to be watched.

Second time staying at National for business nearby. Location is next to plenty of good restaurants and very quiet. Parking in excellent as I have a large crew cab for work. Howie keeps the area clean and safe.
