The pool area was nice, and I enjoyed spending several hours there during my stay. The room included a refrigerator/freezer and microwave, which were both convenient, and the air conditioner worked extremely well. The shower had good water pressure, the bed was comfortable, and the location is convenient for the boardwalk while still being relatively quiet. It’s also right next to Ryan’s Deli, which was a nice bonus.
The room had a noticeable cigarette smoke odor despite a “No Smoking” sign on the door. It also showed quite a bit of wear, including holes in the sheets. I encountered multiple insects during my stay, including flies and a few other bugs, which made the room feel less clean than I expected. While I understand this is a budget motel near the beach, I think the rooms could benefit from better maintenance and attention to cleanliness.
