Lake Point Lodge

The staff is so friendly and accommodating, we loved the location right next to Clearlake. The property was well maintained and the rooms are super clean.

We weren't expecting too much at first because the building looked pretty typical in the pictures, but this place pleasantly surprised us. All of the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly throughout our stay. The room was extremely clean, honestly one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed in. I usually bring my own sheets and pillowcases when traveling because I’m picky about cleanliness, but we actually saw a staff member changing all the bedding, which made us feel much more comfortable. The view from the second floor overlooking the hills and prairie was also really nice and relaxing. Another plus was having several restaurants within walking distance. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

We can't think of anything. The price was a little higher than we wanted to pay, but it was comparable to the similar hotels in the area. Honestly, this place was worth our money.

Very noisy as it is near the street. Little contact with front desk-they gave us a key and we left it in our room upon checkout. Small room and not a good value for what we paid.

We have stayed here before because we like the location

At first the TV wasn’t working but someone came by and got it working but then we found mouse poop underneath the pillows. The entrance door had a huge gap underneath it letting mice and cold air in. We were moved to a different room but can’t help but fear they might’ve just vacuumed the poop and rented the room out to someone else. We don’t know this for sure but now don’t plan on returning to this place for that reason.
