Lovely place to stay in Barrow. Beautiful home with Inuit art. Very comfortable, clean room. Hosts very helpful and welcoming. Good breakfast. Unless you need to stay in the big hotel or the one near the airport, this is far more home-like and personal. Only about a ten-fifteen minute walk to center of town.

Mary Ann was really welcoming and friendly; we really enjoyed talking to her. Breakfast was delicious. The space was comfortable, nicely decorated, and in a great location. Thank you for welcoming us into your lovely house, Mary Ann!

The room is small but comfortable. Breakfast is tasty. The location is very quiet. The owner does not allow the use of the washer/dryer but will do laundry for guests at extra cost. The accommodation is a room with a private bathroom in a small house in the town located one block from the seafront. The owner is welcoming and offers suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The room has a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and TV with cable and streaming services. Parking is free on the street in front.
Compared to a hotel the price was a little high.

Nice downtown location. Temperature control was good (Alaska).
TV set up quirky and very dated. We were asked to remove our shoes before entering the premises. The entrance had nowhere near enough room to do this easily. Breakfast was NOT cooked for you in the AM. It was prepared the night before for you to take out of the fridge and eat in the AM.
