Mi caught a flat tire due to the horrible conditions of the garage so i was stranded staff treated ms poorly no one tried to fix my issues i didnt get into my room until 10:30 pm!

Good for just the price of the room

The hotel offered a lot of extra things like massages, breakfast, brunch, rooftop igloos. It was very nice.

The price plus gratuity of the above mentioned items were too much. Our rooms’ air conditioning was not very well. We were very hot.

I do not feel like I got my money's worth and I probably wouldn't stay here again.

I liked how clean the room was. The bathroom lighting and shower were nice. I enjoyed the rooftop bar as well, the staff was nice and the customer service was good.

I didn't like how thin the walls were I could hear everything happening in the hallway and in the next room's bathroom. The connection for the tv in the living room didn't work which was disappointing. The windows in the living room were not floor to ceiling like pictured. The view from the living room was a gas station and from the room was a brick siding facing into other people's windows. Also the ice machine on my floor didn't work.

The perfect stay for a marathon weekend in Chicago

Everything about this property was first class. It exceeded my expectations on all counts. The room was an incredible size, with all the facilities that you need, including coffee making, a sink and a fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I had a high up room, which meant it wasn't noisy.

There wasn't anything to dislike. On one evening there was a young child and family who were very noisy in an adjacent room but you cannot predict that.

Terrible experience at the Godfrey in Chicago. The rooms were cold, the staff were unfriendly and completely unhelpful, and our room wasn’t cleaned for two days straight. For the price they charge, it’s an absolute waste of money and time. We’ll never stay there again — you’ve been warned.

The bedroom furniture needs updating and both suites we had needed painting. At the nightly rate charged this should not be an issue. The location is great, making these upgrades could make this a sought after place to stay

It was a pleasant trip.

We loved the location! Just a few blocks away from Michigan Avenue, but tucked away enough to stay away from the traffic.

Facilities could definitely use a major upgrade, considering this is a 4 star hotel. Walls are also paper thin, and our neighbors were loud and disruptive.

Avoid having a room near elevator it is too noisy. Motor in elevator shaft will disturb sleep.

The location was great and the restaurant and rooftop bar were both top-notch in terms of the food and service. All the staff were very accommodating. The Daily housekeeping service was nice.

It would have been nice to have a vending machine on the floor and offer room service. TV Channels were also a bit underwhelming.

Room was beautiful and clean

Overall customer service was absent. I received a message saying I hope you enjoyed your stay before I actually stayed so when I inquired if my reservation was still active, I got no response. No staff member made us feel welcomed. We even put in the reservation we were celebrating a birthday and no one ever mentioned it or said happy birthday. Overall we left feeling dismissed at check in and it honestly kind of ruined our experience for the rest of our stay.

Location was excellent and within 15 mins walking of downtown Chicago. Extremely comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. Free bottles of water whenever requested.

The Godfrey covered my 3 c’s, comfortable, clean, and central!

On site rooftop bar, attached restaurant, location was central for activities I had planned and walkable to L stations.

No visible instructions on how to get up to the rooftop bar and attached restaurant isn’t directly affiliated with the hotel so if you wanted to get a drink to take back to your room you had to get it from the rooftop bar.

Did not like this property at all

Horrendous experience. Went to check in and was told that our stay had been cancelled due to the credit card not working. I was not made aware of this and was expecting to stay. However at 10 o’clock at night I then had to try find somewhere to stay. Extremely disappointing and stressful. Will never stay again or recommend to anyone else

The location was extremely convenient. Loved the decor and the rooms were amazing!! Loved the rooftop bar!

There was a loud noise coming from the mini fridge's motor. Something that could have been fixed except the hotel was booked. Other than that I was very pleased.
