Just pay a little extra and stay somewhere else.

The room was spacious. That’s about it.

Hair all over the bath and bed as soon as we arrived. The front desk was a nightmare to check in. The lady provided no help or explanation to help me figure out my issue. We also did not have the pack n play in the room. Because I have special needs children, I called and messaged ahead, yet was still faced with the issue of not having it. It was a nightmare to deal with, terrible stay and terrible experience.

Pillowcases had yellow stains Expected towel and bed cover change on the third day of stay didn’t happen and when we asked front desk, the cleaner claimed we put a “do not disturb” sign but we never did. Finally cleaner came and gave new towels but the floor was not mopped (bathroom), nor swept (room) About you booking.com, you never replied thoughtfully to my concern about the airport taxi (taxis on booking), in which I got charged for a service I did not avail. Next time do not include car rental offers or transport services from airport to destination since it was just a query which I did not confirm yet got charged. And of course true enough since I don’t have a confirmation code, how could we find if indeed we got a taxi ? Go figure. All my emails to you were standard and lacked compassion. I got charged in GBP and it’s no joke paying for service we never got

The location was perfect, within minutes of all we needed for the weekend - close to soccer fields, the beach and food venues we wanted to go to. The room was simple, but clean. All we needed was a place to refresh and sleep. It is quiet, even being by the freeway. Easy check in and check out. No frills hotel close to all we needed in Carlsbad.

The beds were clean, but thin, so more comfortable beds would be nice. The TV is small (not really a big deal). the room had a bit of a musty smell (kinda like it had been hotel cleaned, if that makes sense) so not really bad either but I noticed and immediately wished I had brought a scented candle or room spray.

it was amazing we will stay there again

The room was really spacious, and even though the hotel is located next to the freeway, it was surprisingly quiet you couldn't hear any noise at all. We didn't try the breakfast; however, for us, it was more important to have a fridge and microwave in the room since my kids have multiple food allergies, and the hotel provided that. The location was great, and the price was not bad at all.

The freeway noise is horrific. It’s non stop 24/7 loud. There are places where you advertise free breakfast. Other places advertises continental breakfast. It’s coffee and a danish period. The staff has a hard time keeping the coffee full, they’re on their phones instead. All of them were friendly and helpful except one young girl who didn’t seem to want to be there

Room size was great, convenient location to Legoland.

Room was not ready until after 5 pm for a 3 pm check-in time. I asked twice for a credit, staff said they had to ask the manager but didn't follow through. The "light" breakfast was extremely light - one kind of pastry. A LOT of freeway noise.

Very noisy room next to freeway/ motorway, room was clean. Drain in tub broken. So could not use tub. Breakfast was a joke with only single plastic wrapped choco croissant thing. Juice and coffee. No table or chairs to site and have coffee. Staff was friendly and cordial.
