We originally booked the covered wagon (my fault, didn’t pay attention). We were traveling from Phoenix back to Washington and it was along the route. I started checking the weather and noticed it was in the low 30’s at night. I have bad arthritis in my back and was really worried about getting too cold, back cramping and then having to drive another 2 days. I called and the lovely woman was able to upgrade us to one of their new cabins. Check in was easy, staff friendly. It was PERFECT. We ate dinner in the restaurant, prices were a little high but the food was very good, and it was nice to eat and then go straight to our cabin and relax. The larches are turning in the valley and it was a stunning drive down from Mono Lake! Posting photos of the covered wagon, and the pretty creek!

The restaurant & staff were excellent & accommodating! Monica is a Treasure!
A ramp.on the side entrance to the hotel would benefit the older generation (like us!)!we enjoyed the facility

As a small camping site goes, this was very comfortable, clean and charming! Loved it
