    The lodge is located in a very rural place, where all the shops are closed at 7pm and nothing you can do in the evenings. The nearest bar is in June, which is 15 miles from here, which makes you feel kinda alone in the wilderness. Otherwise everything is good, room was clean and tidy, all the amenities were in place, TV, fridge, microwave, we liked the coziness of the room

    Quaint clean and quiet - lake view is the perfect place to stay whether you are driving up further north or hitting some of the local slopes. Great value

    No room at the inn anywhere in Mammoth 100 mile radius weekend after Thxgiving, except one room left at Lakeview. While pricy due to it being the only option, the value was better than anything in Bishop or surrounding southbound options. Luckily there wasn’t a winter storm which can limit your vehicles ability to get here. That being said. Bed was comfortable. Stayed 3 nights. Very roomy rooms and very quiet which is better than I can say for Bishop hotels. Was a very pleasant surprise and will be my go to when June/Mammoth areas are booked. Pro-tip breakfast burritos next door are inexpensive and legit.

    Given not many choices at this location, this accommodation is ok to stay. The staff is friendly and the room is clean. The shared bathroom is also very clean and close to the cottage.
