The coffee at breakfast was pretty good - a pleasant surprise. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was nice and hot, once I figured out how to regulate the temperature. The towels were thick and absorbent - not large but perfectly OK. The basic wifi was fairly speedy, certainly adequate to my (limited) needs.
The breakfast was fine but far from luxurious. Rather than the egg/sausage/cheese sandwich, I would have preferred just simple hard-boiled eggs (I would rather have freshly scrambled eggs, but let's be realistic). The oatmeal was SO thick it was hard to spoon into a bowl.
The room temperature was weird - the thermostat said it was set to 73, but the room was positively icy compared to the corridor. It would have been nice to have a small bottle of lotion - my skin felt like it was being sucked dry. The shower water pressure was adequate but I had to spend an extra minute rinsing to get totally clean. The fan in the bathroom was so powerful that it pulled a blast of cold air into the shower/bath stall while I was showering - it would be nice to have separate switches for the light and the fan.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable
There was a disgusting odour - not sure if it was drains or something else. I used half a can of air freshener to try to disguise it as well as lavender spray on the bedding. The smell had permeated the bed linen.
