Super 8 by Wyndham East Stroudsburg - Poconos

The staff were pleasant. I was able to check in late. They did have breakfast no hot food except for toast, muffins or bagels. Hotel was close to familiar stores and take outs.

I reserved a queen bed which was more like a full size bed. The bathroom recked of cat or some strong odor that lingered into the sleeping area if bathroom door wasn’t close. The bathtub wasn’t clean to take a bath. I did ask front desk if I could change my room she said they didn’t have which I didn’t see why not because I didn’t go on a busy day. I stayed Monday to Wednesday. I managed to make do with the room but I do not see myself reserving a room again there. The saying is true you get what you pay for. Don’t get me wrong nice place inside pretty decent and somewhat clean. I just couldn’t take the smell that was in my room. Lucky for me I had a can of Lysol but that didn’t help much and the a/c seemed to make the smell worst so I don’t know if it was coming out the a/c as well.

Clean and comfortable. Front desk staff very sweet.

Noisy, doors slamming all night. People hanging by our window smoking. People hanging in the parking lot at night.

Such friendly staff! Great beds! They love fogs!

Not walkable really to anything but who cares? A quick car ride gets you everywhere you need to go!
