Great ocean views, but on a busy street. Staff was very attentive without being overbearing. Very helpful with directions and offered dining suggestions and places to visit. The room was clean, but small. It was exactly what we expected for the price. Couldn’t ask for better customer service, which is very important when traveling. We went on the skunk train which was very close

Small rooms, but had everything we needed. The location is close to everything, but there is also a Mountain Mikes on the same property so it felt as though the pizzeria was encroaching on the motel. We did order pizza and had it in our room, so that was actually Ok.

My stay had a few disappointing aspects. At check-in, the staff seemed unfriendly and showed little interest in welcoming or assisting guests, which left a poor first impression. Additionally, the breakfast options were quite limited, and supplies ran out quickly, making the morning experience less enjoyable. Overall, the service could benefit from more attentiveness and care. The room showed noticeable wear and needed attention.

Stay was comfortable, clean and no smells. The room was definitely flooded at some point as the floor was soft but didn’t affect our stay.

The person who checked us in was not friendly. The floor of the room had a weak spot in it like the wood was rotten underneath the flooring.

Clean room, comfy bed, great location. TV and wifi were great too. Everything was very clean and well kept.

The bathroom window had new insulation so it didn't quite close all the way. Toilet in my room was slightly slow to flush, but that could be from being so close to the water. Neither of these things were significant issues during my stay.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Compared to the other motels in the area in the budget category, the rooms were clean. We travelled with a small dog, so its hard to say if we had the best room. But at least the plumbing worked bedding was clean, TV actually worked.

Dog fee of $100 was charged.

The person checking us in was very nice and positive. She made it a pleasurable experience!

The parking lot was being slurried with black top!! Ultimately, it was not a big deal as they finished by dusk!!

Room small

The included breakfast wasn’t worth looking for. Went to Denny’s instead. Paid $100 less for a luxury room 200 miles away. Not a good value. Would not stay again.

The staff was all super friendly and you can tell that the rooms have been recently renovated/refurbished. It was clean and comfortable in a great location.

When we were given our room, it had not been cleaned. We arrived at 7PM - so plenty of time to be given a clean room. We were given a different room thankfully. We were told that breakfast would be available till 10 AM. The first morning, we arrived by 9AM. There were 3 half cookies, 2 granola bars, bread, and cereal. There were zero bowls for cereal and an empty carafe for milk. There was also nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to put on the bread. The same happened the second morning and we arrived even earlier! The spread was actually worse. We made a comment and several guests trying to grab breakfast also agreed. By far the worst breakfast. The walls are also thin so you can hear people talking and when they are getting sick which we got to experience. The room we were switched to also had a stain on the sheets that we discovered the next morning. It had been covered by the top sheet. So hard to say if the rooms are actually cleaned. I get that this is a budget motel, so normally I would say you get what you pay for, but we still paid nearly 150.00 a night and we’re lead to believe it was the only vacancy by booking.com! When we arrived in town, vacancies were far from limited - so I’m annoyed to feel duped by both the site and the motel. I think it’s in poor taste to list that you offer breakfast because you think putting a few dry items out (that are clearly limited) constitutes a breakfast. Again, if this were a cheap stay, I would be more forgiving, but it was not.

Clean, affordable and close to restaurants

They do not accept cash payments. The front desk staff was rude and started arguing with each other while we were trying to check in.

I think the bed was very comfortable and the amenities were nice.

The front desk failed to call me back TWICE when they promised to call me back. They even confirmed my phone number and everything and didn’t call me back. Extremely frustrating.

Location is walking distance to most things. But it’s a small town, so everywhere is not too far away.

No towel. Internet sucks.

Great 4 night stay at Super 8. Booked through Bookings.com. Brought my two dogs, $20 per dog per night. This is a basic, clean, ample parking, WiFi included room with hard floors vs carpet. Perfect for my stay with dogs. Friendly, helpful staff at check in, check out and with cleaning staff who I communicated with. Quite professional. Clean downstairs room with queen bed, non smoking, nice blackout shades for setting sun. Refrigerator, microwave, no hair dryer (not a problem), cable TV on flat screen TV, good WiFi. Good size room including table and chairs. Bathroom sink area has been updated. Blow dryer missing but there was a wall mount. Plenty of hangers. Lots of parking, adjacent to Mountain Mike's Pizza and Chevron. Very clean grounds. Continental breakfast in morning: cereal, toast, oatmeal, coffee and tea. I didn't try it but there was a line and lobby full of people 7-10am each day. Quiet mostly, next door guests baby crying lots and their dog barked. Consulted management at checkout. They suggested next time I call them with each occurrence. My dogs fortunately were quiet. I would stay here again. Also if my stay was as good as this time they could easily be rated 5 stars.

Room was very small for 2 people. Hotel is surrounded by parking lot/ basically in a parking lot. Some car noise for the pizza shop etc. Bed and pillow unusual.

The front staff was super rude. I booked the hotel through bookings.com and gave them the bookings.com confirmation number. He shot back “that’s not our confirmation number we don’t work that way.”

Yes, the facility was clean.

The walls have absolutely NO sound insulation. I could hear the occupants in the next room very well and that invaded my privacy.

I loved the ocean view from my window. My parking was excellent. Very clean. The dining table and comfortable chairs were a+ for me. The staff are great. Very accommodating. I will stay here again, soon.

Construction crews staying there very loud felt like he was in the same room with us clearing his throat all night and morning very loudly

Staff was amazing. We have stayed at this hotel many times and have loved it. This trip the AC wasn’t working in the room. The manager immediately tried to fix it but was unable to. He quickly moved us to another room with no issues. Greatly appreciated.
