Enjoyed my time in Manitou Springs and the Villa Motel made it easy to enjoy

Two nights just there to sleep basically. Loc was great as my friends were on the 700 blk of Manitou Ave. Front desk clerk, Rey I believe, was exceptional. Very friendly and personable. If I come back I'm gonna try to book my stay at the Villa

Very close to shuttle.

I was billed an extra $20 on my credit card for "reserved" parking due to booking thru booking.com. You'd think a parking spot would come with the room. Because of this, Villa Motel and Booking.com's total charges did not match. Rotten business practice that will keep me from recommending the establishment.

Good location, staff and value

The staff were all great. Lovely to speak to and very helpful. At breakfast they had great fresh brewed coffee from a local roaster and I'd say the choice of oatmeal, bagels, pastries and fresh fruit is pretty ideal for fueling up ahead of tackling the Incline or a hike to Pike's Peak. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a large fridge and microwave which were both useful.

Great location and room. Very comfortable and clean. Beautiful views.

Too many smokers outside of the rooms. Confusing late check in process and room cleaning process. Staff is not there all night to check in. Cleaning staff needs to be scheduled to clean your room. I hung the door sign for cleaning but was told that was not the way to do it. This should have been disclosed at check in and covered extensively.

Didn't have the breakfast, but was nice they had it available. Rooms were very quiet, parking lot was full, but seems like enough for everyone!! Room was nice and cool, clean and comfortable. Bed was AMAZING, could have stayed another week.

Stairs were very tight , rooms very dated needs a refresh cracked sink and shower from the 1970’s plastic screen and 1 degree between scolding and freezing, also if biiked via booking.com they add extra for parking at a motel it’s like paying for a plate at a restaurant

Excellent. Clean, roomy, good staff, great location.

The only problem was the ac. Like in many older motels, the ac thermostat didn't seem to work and it went on and off on a schedule. Since it was a bit noisy it woke me up at times and never cooled down much.

The location was perfect for walking to and from the downtown area. The pool was great for cooling off and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

The $10 fee per night for using a 3rd party was a surprise, but they said to call them directly and book for a better rate for next time.

Great location, nice place, very good deal.

When I first got there, I was unsure about whether I couldn't have done better with the location or the room, but once I drove around Manitou Springs a little more, I realized I had gotten really lucky. Here's why: I passed the newer, chain hotels with the people staring out of their windows-don't-open rooms at the traffic. They couldn't get to the touristy part of Manitou Springs without taking their car. Then, I went the other direction and saw the really, really touristy section of the street and traffic was a nightmare! The Villa Motel, on the other hand, is located just far enough from the tourist mess that you can easily walk there, but you don't have to deal with it every time you want to go anywhere. Plus, as an extra added bonus, the staff was very knowledgeable and considerate. I'd definitely stay again.

The staircase to get to the second floor is too narrow when you're carrying stuff. :)

Friendly staff, family owned, great location.

Fantastic location! Short walk to the main part of town and shopping. Across the street to the free bus that will take you to the Pikes Peak Cog Rail or the Incline. Staff was friendly, room was large, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was simple. Packaged pastries or oatmeal, juice and coffee. But it was included. Booking directly through the hotel would have saved me a little money and the parking fee but it was still a great deal.

Good stay at Villa Motel

I liked the clean, comfortable room & perfect location. Located across the street is a shuttle that will take you to the incline/cog. A 5 min walk to downtown Manitou Springs. About a 35 min walk to the Garden of the Gods. The staff is very nice, friendly, & helpful.

Breakfast is continental, so there are no protein options.
