Villa Motel at Manitou Springs

The manager was so very nice and friendly. The property is conveniently located and easy to get in and out in such a busy tourist spot. Property is many years old but very well cared for. I’m a retired property manager and property inspector and I know a well cared for property when I see one and this is one of the best owner/management teams that operate this motel. It’s refreshing to see people that take pride in their property. I would recommend this motel to anyone who just needs a place for a night.

It doesn’t have an elevator and it’s two stories high. It’s a small property so there isn’t a big area for breakfast.

This hotel was definitely one of the best locations in town. You could walk everywhere and there was a free bus right across the street that took us to the base of the Incline and the Cog Railroad.

This hotel got such high ratings that we had high expectations and were surprised when the hotel was right on the busy road. The hot tub and pool are right next to the road. The breakfast is pretty meager. Highly processed, packaged pastries, bagels and oatmeal packets. When we arrived, they charged us an extra $10/day for parking since we booked through booking.com. That was not in our reservation and felt like they were just squeezing more money out of us, but who knows. Rooms are fine, but our room needed an update and looked nothing like the pictures on the website.
