What a surprise. The location on the shores of Junaluska lake is simply gorgeous. Be sure to get a room with lake view, and don’t miss the nearby village of Waynesville, which is one of the cutest small town in NC. Personnel were extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was really good, considering the limited number of guests.
Rooms are small. Cleanliness is not exemplar. Style and furniture is outdated (hotel was built in the ‘70s)

Beautiful lake view. The maintained walking trail, benches, and pedestrian walkways along the lake were wonderful.
No negatives regarding the property.

On lakefront with great views!
The breakfast is very mediocre.

Simply cannot beat the location. The quick access to the lake and rocking chairs to relax in before or after a walk are always welcome.
Showing her age just a bit. Perhaps it was the “downtime” right after the summer rush and before fall where things just needed a bit more attention.
