As you enter the front door, you are greeted with a sweet smell. upon approaching the front desk for check in The staff polite and courteous. The room was very clean and very bright and comfortable. Draw back to the room is there is not a microwave located inside

We booked a 4-day, 3-night stay at Margaritaville Beach Resort South Padre Island but ended up heading home on the third day. We live about an hour away and found ourselves missing our own bed! Our early departure had nothing to do with the resort itself. The Pools & Beach 🌊 The pools were definitely a highlight of our stay! There’s a smaller pool with a water feature for little ones and a larger pool with a swim-up bar. It’s a nice setup for families and adults alike. The beach is just a short walk away through the resort’s private beach gate. We enjoyed an early morning walk along the shoreline, although we spent most of our leisure time at the pool. The Room 🛏️ We stayed in a king room with a partial ocean view. The room was comfortable overall, but the bed made some noise on the right side, and the pillows weren’t as firm as we would have preferred. There was also a speaker that randomly went off twice within about a minute, sounding as though someone was paging us. It didn’t happen again, but it was a little strange. We requested turndown service twice during our stay. Coffee & Amenities ☕ Joe’s Coffee Shop was great! The pastries were delicious, and it’s a lovely spot to grab a snack before or after a meal. Unfortunately, the gym was closed during our visit, so we can’t comment on those facilities. Additional Costs 💳 Be aware that resort fees and parking are charged separately. Purchases at the pool bar and Joe’s Coffee Shop can be charged directly to your room, which is convenient but makes it easy to lose track of extras. A Few Tips 💡 Bring mosquito repellent, especially if you plan to spend time outdoors. If your budget allows, consider booking a larger room for a more comfortable stay. Overall Experience ⭐ Overall, we enjoyed the pools, Joe’s Coffee Shop, and the easy access to the beach. We visited during the off-season, and the price was a great deal. There were fewer crowds, and the weather was perfect for enjoying the resort and spending time outdoors. While there were a few minor room inconveniences and we couldn’t use the gym, we had a pleasant stay. We simply decided to head home a little earlier than planned because we live nearby and missed our own bed! We would recommend considering an off-season visit if you’re looking for a more relaxed experience at a better price. 🌴🌊

We had an exceptional time at the Margaritaville Resort! We were welcomed with a smile by all staff, super clean rooms, great accessibility to the beach and great relaxing by the pool..Great local food places and activities for the family. Highly recommend!

The staff at check-in were really helpful and the customer service was great! Our room was pretty beat up and needed some work. They have painted the bathtub to cover the rust on the bottom but it wore off. The doors on the closet needed new hinges and it was really hard to use. The same with entry door. It was hard to open and close. The swimming pool area was filthy and there were food stains that hadn't been cleaned for days! The bartender charged us more than the price listed on the wall and claimed that they have been too busy to change it. Try a Sharpie dude!!!
