Hyatt Place Uncasville - Casino Area

Everything is great at the Hyatt in Uncasville! Staff are helpful, friendly and patient; hotel is quiet, super clean and very convenient to the casino and other travel itinerary. Very affordable. Although I didn't eat breakfast there this time, it has been just great in the past.

Liked everything, and will return!

The breakfast was awful. For what the nightly rate is I expected a little more and I expected at least some real plates to eat off of. The breakfast area was dingy and not very well maintained and it’s clear they “offer free breakfast” basically in name only. There was also dog waste that was left out the back door near the smoking and lounging area the entire time we were there. It’s not the dogs fault but maybe the owners should be made aware that they need to clean up after their pets.

Room was decent, tho the bathroom definitely needed help. Peeling paint along the ceiling, was not pleasant looking.

The front desk staff when we checked in, a gentleman, was the most condescending and rude front desk staff I’ve dealt with in quite awhile. BOTH at check in and when I had to follow up for towels by the pool (since there were none) he was not helpful, nor pleasant. The breakfast was ridiculous- no food left by 10 AM, scraps left on the table.
