It served it's purpose but I wished it had been cleaner.

A rather basic hotel, could do better maintenance.

Second-floor room with a window view out over the common parking area. Decor: Rather dated, but somewhat functional. Desk & electrical sockets: Desk with accessible power socket, no USB charging ports. In-room safe: No Breakfast: Very basic American-style buffet with limited choices of cereal, waffles or muffins, yoghurt, and brewed coffee – that's all folks.

A rather basic hotel, which seems like it was lost somewhere in the 1990s and has not seen much maintenance or updates since then. For some reason, all the light bulbs were very low wattage, so even with all the lights turned on, it was still dark and rather gloomy in the room. The bed mattress was also one of the worst we had in the US, being very soft and you could roll off if too close to the edge. A bit of maintenance, a new coat of paint and a few other things could make a significant improvement to the perception of the hotel rooms.

The bathroom had a dirty area on the wall that should be cleaned and painted. Update with USB plugs and additional electrical plugs. People have a lot of devices nowadays.

Not aware when booking there is no elevator. One family member can’t do stairs and we were booked 2nd floor. Arriving late reception closes at 10:30. Big snafu. Also hotel is below drab, low end everything and no updates in that place for decades.

The people were fantastic. The location was perfect. They had chairs outside your room so you could sit and visit and enjoy getting to know your hotel-mates. Very laid back. Continental breakfast was….well, a continental breakfast. Typical of any motel that serves that type of breakfast. It was close to everything we wanted to do, and the property was very easy to get to.

It was more of a motel than a hotel, with outside doors, which I don’t care for, but that’s a personal choice. The pool was old and very small. Not quite as fun for our granddaughter as we’d hoped, after a long day of doing activities.

Located close to the Garden of the Gods park. In the other direction, the shops and restaurants.

Washing machine didn't work. Ice maker barely worked. It made an abysmal amount of ice.

Everything was very clean, friendly staff, great location. Comfortable beds, refrigerator, direct TV.

Only issue we had was to change the channels, we had to stand right next to the TV because the direct TV box was mounted on the back of the TV stand. Not a big deal, was literally my only complaint.

Shower curtain rods were bent down, making it impossible to close. Causing water to leak out. They've been that way for a while looking at the water damage on the walls. Vacuuming in corners wasn't done. Dead bug in the corner was there the whole time. Room was cleaned 4 times. Beds were hard.

The property did not match the pictures we saw online. Guests at the hotel showed us their unclean room and advised us not to check in. So we immediately cancelled our reservation and are now disputing the charges.

Indoor hot tub and pool were clean and the hot tub was at a nice temperature. Building itself is a bit dated but the rooms and the property is clean and the beds are very comfortable! Located on the main street and off the interstate made easy access to everything. Staff was very welcoming and courteous.

It’s close to downtown Manitou Springs

Upon inspection of property and rooms and speaking to guests, we canceled our reservation. It did not look anything like the pictures. We felt duped. Two guests told us the same and said the rooms were not clean. We left and found another place to stay

This motel is a bargain, and we will be back!

The staff was friendly and efficient. Our king room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was laid out well with a large vanity outside the bathroom. We did not eat the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Instead, we ate a great breakfast at MO’s diner, which is a few blocks away—that was a plus for staying here! We had everything we needed and will stay here again.

This is an older motel, so it is a little frayed around the edges. That didn’t bother us, but if you are looking for something less dated, it might not suit you. Also be aware that your door will open on the outside, not on an inside hall. Not a problem for us.

We didn’t actually use the pool, but it looked nice and was indoors and a Jacuzzi. Great location to see all the amenities around.

The front desk guy looked annoyed as soon as I walked in, and just kind of acted, as if I were ruining his vibe by trying to check in, and I barely said anything to him other than our name.
