Location and pet accommodations. Spacious room. Friendly staff

Had issue with heater first night. Notified staff. While out of room maintenance was sent to check heater. I was told it was fixed. When I return back to room and turning heater on, it still was not working. I notifed staff again and had to wait like 35 minutes before maintenance came back to check it. The nice maintenance man fixed heater. This was my only complaint. Being told it was fix when it wasn't.

From check in to check out, it’s an outstanding service . Friendly and accommodating staff, fast service whenever you call the front desk , housekeeping or maintenance . Exceptional welcome drinks of your choice , how about that ? Very clean room perfect for my family . Complete facilities . We slept nicely too as there wasn’t any single noise . Location very near Pismo pier and outlets . Couldn’t ask for more. We had a perfect weekend . Thank you for everything .

Lovely stay with pleasant green courtyard

We love the grounds of this hotel, very green, spacious and peaceful. The suite rooms are very nice, up to date and a great value. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. And we loved having a shuttle ride to the beach!

The most amazing, relaxing, and stress free stay ever, we will continue to stay here every time.

We liked how they took us right away, we were actually going to stay at the Motel 6 but when we went to check in at 7pm they told me the AC is not working and if I would like to cancel for free, Of Course I was like yes please cancel me and we went straight to Oxford Suites, and we normally stay here but we were trying to be a little cheaper and it totally back fired, but the Oxford Suites never fails us and we will always be back!!

Bad experience

Sofa mattress smelled like urine. Front desk stated that nothing could be done the first night there. Second night they moved us, the room smelled like a mix of dirty diapers and Chinese food. Before this experience it was my favorite hotel. Maybe under new management.

Location of my room - 2nd floor noisy. Lots of traffic in front of my room as well. Room was old and small. Only lobby looked new and nice. Everything else was run down. Check in time is 4pm. Later than most hotels.

Great place to stay

The staff was very helpful and polite. The pool was located in a great area. The pool hours were excellent, we was abletoenjoyedour day and still had enough time for the children to enjoy the pool. I enjoyed the fire pit area. The breakfast was great as well. Walking distance to a restaurant for late night meals. I will be returning here soon.

When we arrived in our room, we noticed a few basic items were not replaced or refilled like the body soap in the shower- it was completely out and we didn’t notice until later in the evening. We also didn’t have tissue box. We did inform the front desk but it did take a while for the items to arrive and actually we never got a refill of the shower gel/soap. They actually brought us another bottle of hand soap. Also we were on the first floor facing the street. It sounded like the windows were open and the noise from outside was fairly loud. Walls seem thin also.

The stay at the hotel was not pleasant.

The front desk staff was friendly.

My room smelled like pet urine. There was mold in the bathroom. The faucet look like it was broken in the bathroom. The curtains were torn up. The carpets were filthy. My husband‘s allergies kicked in because of the carpets. If I could have booked a different hotel upon arrival I would have. Unfortunately, it was over Fourth of July weekend and hotels were sold out. The hotel wasn’t even going to service the room the next day even though I paid over $500 a night. For that price one would expect their beds to be made. I had five people in the two room hotel, two adults, three children, and only four towels. I did let the hotel know about my concerns and they put towels in my room. But other than that, there was nothing done. Did not even offer a room change.

When I checked in I was informed that the credit card I used was for a security deposit, well whoever charged the room to my credit card and I was going to pay on a different card. Was not happy about this. Staff informed me that this charges could not be corrected.

Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Fruit, granola and plain (yeah!) yogurt were of excellent quality. Everything freshly made. Room wad spacious for a couple and bed was very comfortable. Lobby and common areas very nice.

Overall, our stay was okay. Attentive staff, but outdated hotel. Probably won’t stay here again.

The staff were friendly. The courtyard view was nice. I liked the complimentary drink at the bar. The pool was warm. The hotel breakfast was decent. The staff were attentively picking up trays and restocking the food; the bagels, fruit, yogurt etc.

I wanted to park a second car on the property, but the staff said the second car had to park on the street. That was inconvenient for us since our room was towards the back of the hotel. The towels were thin. We stayed in a two room suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. This was for 3 people. The 2 queen beds were comfortable and had enough bedding, but the sofa bed, it was very thin and uncomfortable. The extra blanket we found in the dresser was very thin. Overall, the hotel is very outdated. The window blinds are old, the carpet and the sofa had stains. For the price we paid, our stay was okay. Not the best, but not horrible.
