The value for money is the issue. Staff is lovely but the hotel is older so we experienced issues that you should not have at this price point. AC not working first night, water randomly shut off mid-shower for a minute. Staff is very friendly and professional. Lobby is gorgeous and food is very good.

All the positives and negatives posted about this hotel are true . The staff are great ,loved the Dyson hairdryer and diptique products . The property is very run down in places , all the carpets are grubby and need replacing. The main reason we were disappointed was the resort fees charged on checkout . The spa was never open /available, we only used the complimentary car twice . On checkout we were told the resort fees were to pay for the spa and gym etc car etc but the spa was closed whenever we tried to go as it closes early if not busy . If this is the case then surely it should not be advertised as complimentary . You may not want to use their car service but you will still have to pay $60 plus tax per day on checkout !
