Loved the warm lodge feel and large apartment style rooms.

The stairs were a bit tough with luggage but doable.

Closest restaurants , shops and hiking trails

No elevator Somewhat outdated

The room was clean bathroom updated. Sitting area was nice and kitchen has everything you would need for a extended stay. Only stayed 1 night but will keep this place in mind when in that area again

Seemed pricy for a Thursday night off season

The biggest highlight of our stay was definitely the sauna! I didn’t even realize the property had one, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. It was beautiful, relaxing, and honestly saved our overall impression of the hotel. We also appreciated the cozy bathrobes, neatly folded towels, complimentary makeup remover wipes, and toiletries. The kitchen was equipped with clean dishes, including wine glasses, which was a nice touch. The jacuzzi was another great feature, although we did notice some hair floating in the water.

Unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot. We arrived around 8 PM and waited at least 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. There was only one room available, and it looked nothing like what we had expected based on the Booking.com listing. Even getting inside was a challenge because the key wouldn’t turn properly in the lock, and we needed assistance opening the door. The biggest disappointment was the window facing directly into the parking area, with another car’s bumper practically at window level. Traveling with children, this was especially concerning because we worried that a car starting right outside could wake them up. The hot water was another major issue. It took a very long time to warm up, and the following morning there was no hot water at all. We tried running multiple faucets, but the water remained cold. We also received a notice saying the electricity would be shut off on the morning of our departure. Because of this, we had to wake up earlier than planned to get ourselves and the kids ready, eat breakfast, and wash the dishes before the supposed outage. In the end, the power was never turned off, so we had unnecessarily rearranged our morning. The room itself felt very outdated, with an old television, a VCR, and furnishings that seemed stuck in another decade. Some areas weren’t properly cleaned, and we even found a dirty kitchen knife. There was also no air conditioning. We personally didn’t need it during our stay, but it’s definitely something summer visitors should know. Overall, the room and the actual experience fell short of our expectations.
