Canton Motel

We travel frequently. My guidelines for hotels is nothing with a number or a color in the name and must start with an H. We were in Canton to shop the antique fair and this was the closest hotel. I was skeptical to say the least but read thru the reviews and gave it a shot. The gentleman that checked us in was kind and we received an old fashioned key to our room. Opened the door and it smelled fresh, linens were crisp and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Extra towels, coffee maker and microwave. Extra soap, additional TP it was all there. Temps were near 100 degrees and the air conditioner kept up with the heat and we were comfortable considering we like a cold interior environment. Quiet, clean, friendly. Nothing bad to say here. Don't hesitate to book if you are in the area. Did I mention the VALUE for this room. Beyond expectations. Thank you for the nice stay.

Very cute, homey place to stay. And my goodness the cleanest place I have stayed lately. The couple who runs it are the sweetest.

The staff was kind and the rooms were clean. Craig was available when needed. The ironing board and iron were available upon request.

The AC stopped working in our room (but he moved us). Smoking was allowed directly outside the door. ( I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so a designated smoking area away from the rooms would be nice). I didn't see ADA accommodations (ramp) at the office. As a disabled veteran, some days it's tough to walk.
