Great comfortable & inexpensive place to stay!

Simple, clean & comfortable. The staff I encountered were all very nice. I was told the only hot food provided at breakfast was oatmeal so I opted for sleeping in & getting breakfast at the Cracker Barrel next door. It might have been wonderful. I have stayed here several times when visiting family in the area.

Excellent location and value

Check in a breeze very friendly and accommodating I don't like elevators so she gave me a ground floor near door it was perfect. When we checked out the man let us have grab and go breakfast an hour early and he made us fresh coffee. Pool was very clean we didn't swim but others did. Location to interstate was great and cracker barrel we walked to. Excellent value we will use on return trips.

Good could've been great

Location and price. Facilities were great. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked well. The non-smoking of the whole place was a plus as well didn't know when I booked on booking.com, but nice to see when I got there.

A smoke alarm began chirping about 3 a.m. and didn't stop until like about 8 a.m. I was not the only guest on the 3rd floor. I don't know if no one else complained but yeah it kept me from getting the really restful night of sleep I was getting before it started. I expected someone would take care of it or complain.

Rude man barged into our room

Before check out my wife had just gotten out of the shower and I was still in bed we got a knock on our door. They said housekeeping and because I have had it happen before when they thought we had left they used their key to come in we said “ we are still in here” and man shouted from outside the door that they smelled cigarette smoke in the hall and demanded entry to our room to check if we were smoking in there. Which we weren’t when we said back “ we don’t smoke” he again shouted that we had to allow him access to our room. My wife still naked from the shower hid under the covers and said he could come in. He then said we had to open the door which we thought was odd cause we would expect housekeeping to have a key. So my wife hid behind the door wrapped in a towel because we both were not decent and allowed the man in. He walked through our room without a word to us glanced around the room and went to the window and pulled back the shade. Then without so much as a word to us walked out. My wife was so upset and shaken by this we promptly packed up and left. We have never had this happen to us. To make matters worse we stepped in the hallway and smelled no smoke. This hotel charges a 300 dollar fine for smoking in the room, it felt like they were trying to getting a charge out of us. My wife said “ thank God I wasn’t alone”. Very disappointing cause other than that it was a great place.

No in-room coffee maker. Breakfast was only coffee and assorted sweet rolls. Pillows were very thick and hard.

Great overnight stay

Clean and inexpensive; a perfect location for a short term stay where you need a clean place to fall asleep. Not to many amenities so I don't recommend it if you are looking for your hotel to provide an atmosphere. However, if you will be out an about all day and just want a clean and neat place to lay your head at night that will not burst your budget, then this is the place.

My room was next to the highway so I heard the trucks passing all evening.

The entire hotel is very clean. I was pleased that there was no smoking of any kind on the property. Everything seemed in good working order. There was good water pressure and air conditioning. The room was a good size for us. It was quiet and comfortable.

The room and general hotel are super clean! The ladies at the front desk are incredibly nice and welcoming. The beds are firm (a plus for me since I have back issues) and you have a personal thermostat for your room.

The rooms are a bit bare bones and the TVs are small but that's all I could really find to complain about.
