Self check-in was easy and well explained before the arrival. Lots of windows that could be open because the area allowed it (not a common thing in the other motels that we went to). Tea kettle and essential silverware, cups, plates. Benches outdoor, one for each room.

next door to a private home and facing the highway, but quiet overall. easy parking. surprised to have a fridge, microwave, and real dishes and silverware at this price. love the quirky quaint ambiance.
a/c fan didn't seem to cycle; stayed on the entire time. tried every setting and nothing changed. also, not possible to communicate with staff: we arrived 2 hours early and would have loved a way to check in early since the room was clearly ready at that time. making us wait until closer to the 4pm checkin time seems arbitrary.

Location was great. Loved the back patio area for social time. Private and comfortable.
Low water pressure the 2nd day, which was odd. Shower head is "short". Need to continue to remodel. Needs more pillows.
