What a delightful find! We loved everything about Maplewood Hotel. Our room was cozy, the bed wonderfully comfortable, and everything spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks available throughout the day were such a nice touch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the outdoor pool was a real treat. Perfectly located in the heart of charming Saugatuck, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We originally checked in for just one night during our road trip and loved it so much that we stayed for two. One small suggestion for improvement would be to install blackout curtains for guests like us who prefer a completely dark room for a good night's sleep. Other than that we have a wonderful stay and would surely return.

Perfect location to just walk out the front door and start enjoying Saugatuck. Very quiet. Lots of nice places to sit and relax inside. Spent an evening reading in one of the sitting rooms. Very comfortable furniture. Room 207 is especially great. The breakfast was excellent both days. Super friendly staff that made sure you were taken care of quickly.
Absolutely nothing that I can think of. It had everything we could have hoped for and then more.

Old and folksy. Very nice staff very welcoming. Clean rooms and good wholesome breakfast. Right in the middle of town. Next to an active playground, which I thought was really kind of cute. Check out time of 12 noon is pretty generous.
A little pricey.
