One of those budget stays that seems to be tucked away in a quiet street but that is close to the essentials. You do need a vehicle, but you are close to food options, shopping, etc. I had a great room, staff were great.

Clearly not an old structure, but Disturbing they built it Without central HVAC as it had rained well just before checking in and the entire hallways & common areas were muggy & swarthy feeling. The room was good, and thankfully the room unit was on the quiet side & could 🆒 the space. The breakfast also thankfully had warm options (eggs, bacon, sausage) for selecting. It also has pool tables & other amenities in common areas for guests, which is abnormal. Wouldn't be a bad venue for brief to medium length stays during Spring & Autumn; but the deficit of central HVAC for the structure is Disturbing for Summer & Winter months, sincerely. This is in comparison to the Comfort Suites in Graylslake, IL on US 45, which is and older structure, But Much more Intelligently constructed and operated, truly.

As soon as I checked in, the front office employee was so polite. She was very attentive. The breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub were amazing. I had a jacuzzi in my room, loved it. Will definitely stay again

I spent a long time looking for an affordable hotel that had good reviews on its pool specifically. And sure, the pool was cleanish (it of course had the obligatory lifeguard seat covered with a tarp. What the reviews failed to mention is that the pool is open to the public and is packed to the brim with kids peeing in it. You'd think the water would be a little warmer with all that urine in it. There was also nowhere to shower, so who knows what was being introduced to that water? The hot tub would be more aptly called the "warm tub". Breakfast had a lot of options including store bought eggs and frozen potatoes that weren't cooked all the way. I was going to have a bagel, but they were wet for some reason. If you really like condiments though, this is the place for you. I don't understand why they have spotlights shining directly into some rooms (like mine). I woke up the smell of what I'm assuming was my next door neighbor's morning poop.
