I requested a non smoking room got a smoking room. It was not clean. The plumbing made loud noises off and on all night. Would not stay there again and I travel frequently to Charleston

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, and my experience was pretty average. While it had some basic amenities like a fridge and television in the room, I did have concerns about security. The door didn’t feel like it locked securely, which made me a bit uneasy. The WiFi worked well, which was a plus, but everything else about my stay felt quite standard. The hotel is located far outside the city and away from attractions, which was a drawback. I chose this place because city hotels were three times the price, but it meant I had to travel quite a distance for activities. They offered morning coffee, but that was about it in terms of dining options. The area felt a bit rough and is right off the highway, but I managed to make it work for my short stay. Overall, while it was functional for a couple of nights, I wouldn’t recommend it for longer stays, especially if you’re looking for a more secure and convenient location.
