Affordable place to stay while passing through Cortez

The location was right in the middle of town so easy access to everything. My room was huge which was great because I brought my mountain bikes inside to protect them from weather and theft.

Not a big fan of the fluorescent lights but that's pretty typical for most hotels nowadays and if travelers want to stay somewhere with nice views this won't be a good choice as the hotel looks out onto weedy open space.

Wouldn’t stay again.

Able to accommodate for late check in as we arrived after midnight. The kiosk was futuristic and cool but took ages and I couldn’t understand her

The room was disgusting. It smelled like dog wee and smoke. The bed was squeaky and felt like I was about to get bed bugs and to be woken up by housekeeping at 8am cleaning the next door room then knocking at ours and ignoring when I said no thank you and continuing to put the key on the door til I got out of bed and said loudly no! To which they stayed outside the room talking. Couldn’t they see on the manifest that we were checking out in a few hours? What house keeping would be needed for a one night stay. I wasn’t happy I couldn’t sleep after that and had to drive another 13 hours after an already long drive the night before. Didn’t see what the breakfast was like as I was trying to go back to sleep which didn’t happen. When I went to check out no one was at the counter and I waited a second and the guy just said “yeah” and I was like umm I’m checking out and just put the key up on the desk and walked out. Please put pets in certain pet rooms and advertise them as pet rooms! I can’t stay in rooms that have had pets as I have severe allergies.

Staff was great! Location is awesome!

There aren’t many parking spots. The lock to our room was broken when we got there. There was an open and used bar of soap in the shower. My daughter found a staple in her waffle. Manager wasn’t there to speak with.

They canceled my CONFIRMED reservation as I was about an hour out and after having driven for over 8 hours. The reason they gave was that they were over booked!

Bed & pillows were very comfortable. Pam who greeted us at the front desk was super friendly & personable. Hot breakfast included eggs, sausage, potatoes & waffles. Also bagels & muffins. Good coffee & juice.

The faucet at the bathroom sink was broken. Temperature of the water at the tub/shower was difficult to set. The building as a whole was kind of shabby.

Nice bed but what a creepy broken room

New bed, mattress and bedding. New sink, toilet, and tub. The staff were very helpful

Dirty floor. I hand mopped the floor with housekeeping towels turning all 4 of them brown. Old patched blacktop parking lot. Broken cement by the room. Unkept rocks separating the room sidewalk from the parking lot. Old chipped door frame, Door, office chair, and straight back chair all creaked. Office chair height adjustment broken. AC unit control panel heavily worn with no On/Off button. It was necessary to use the circuit breaker on the power cable to turn it on. Yellowed hot breakfast server covers with aluminum foil under the breakfast items. The place didn't feel safe.

Run away!

Bathroom was filthy, bed was hard as a rock, loud people congregated outside our doors and smoked all night, and the rooms were freezing! Felt like a halfway house for people fresh out of prison. The breakfast was odd. I’ve never seen random crumbled meat product in a bin.

Large enough room for me and my 6 kids. Hot breakfast with sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, and waffles. Staff was nice even when we didn't check in until 11:59PM. Mostly excited about the toilet sitting at an angle so you have tons of leg room. Each room has a kitchenette so you can cook if you want to.

Had an issue with the shower not wanting to change from the spout to the shower.
