Hotel Lumberjack - Sonora

The hotel was clean, with comfy beds. The rooms were spacious and well furnished even including a microwave. There’s convenient parking right outside and the location couldn’t be better! It’s right in the middle of Sonora with walking access to the highstreet shops and restaurants/cafes but off the high street so it’s quiet. Great to have access to a lovely pool with the heat!

It would be good to have some guidance written in the bathroom on how to use the shower as we found this confusing although eventually worked out you just have to turn it up all the way to get hot water. Breakfast is mainly single packaged items and single use cutlery and bowls/plates which didn’t feel environmentally friendly. But I do appreciate that the hotel might not have consistent guests and staff demand as this is a small town and tourism seems to be seasonal.

It was a very pretty area and the actual hotel rooms were newly furnished. The staff said they were made just 5 years ago and are their most loved spaces. The King rooms were wonderful!

Nothing much was bad except the parking lot was pretty small and packed for the time we stayed (Wednesday - Thursday), still found a spot though!
