Clarion Hotel By Humboldt Bay

There was so much to love about our stay! It was my birthday weekend & we arrived and felt welcomed immediately. The staff were awesome 💯 Angelina is a treasure! She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable & had everything we needed. A total gem of a person. Every single person who works there are so very friendly and kind. Everyone had a smile. We felt totally at ease & safe. We cannot wait to go back! Next time, though, we've agreed weust stay longer! Our expectations were exceeded!

No complaints.

Very helpful and welcoming staff. Good ambiance, good breakfast.

Not applicable. Loved every bit.

Front desk was kind and quick. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was okay, though a bacon or sausage option would have been nice.

Room was clean. Decent coffee maker in room

They have video check-in that needs major improvement. - had to return to the kiosk 4 times : 1) to get my room # (wasn't on the dispensed keys, so I had to ask) 2) to return a key card that didn't work 3} to get the code to enter the parking lot. 4} To get the wifi password. Also had to track down a random employee find out where the room was. If they're serious about perfecting this new system (a service employee told me it was new), they need to have someone readily available to assist and personally understand the problems. Apparently some of this info in on the check-in sheet, which they couldn't print because the printer wasn't working, so they send it via email. They don't tell you that some info is on the sheet. Good luck if you don't have your phone with you (like me). Good luck finding someone to ask questions to. They charged me a higher pet fee than was quoted to me at booking and in their welcome email after I booked. The "virtual" agent at the kiosk did not have the ability to change the higher fee after I explained the error. They corrected it after I responded to their "welcome" email. No smart TV in the room. The place looks bleak and uninviting with a pitiful little pet area with a patch of artificial turf. The price was too high for this level of service and facility.
