Peninsula Island Resort & Spa - Beachfront Property at South Padre Island

The pool was nice. The restaurant was chill. Staff, especially service staff and maintenance, were very accommodating. The bed was comfy. The vibe was relaxed.

They only have 1 working ice machine. From the moment we got there, there was no ice. I had to go to their restaurant and ask for some. Nancy, the bartender, was very kind, though. The parking lot is too far away. They do let you drive up to the front to drop off your bags, but it's just awkward. The weirdest thing happened to me; it was definitely a first. The curtain fell on my boyfriend while he was trying to adjust the level. The issue was that the was for our patio exit. And the maintenance men couldn't fix it that night, so they just put up the whole curtain up somehow but didn't fix the issue. Therefore, the patio door that led to the pool was rendered useless. It was just an inconvenience I hadn't experienced before.

That i ask for a floor room for my wife because she has a bad knee. So they put us next to the office floor room #103D. From breakfast to the shuttle drivers. Dont remember his name. But the little boy.lol.. We will be back because of your warm welcome.

It was all very nice..

Nice location near the beach. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and professional.

Wi-Fi was spotty going in and out most of the time difficult to work on an iPad or laptop. TV lagged, the property needs a better Wi-Fi /Internet system to handle their large property population.

The pool was great !

Staff was very rude at times especially when it came to the pool. Even when having braclets and wifi never worked even though we talked to front desk about it
