The bathroom door looked like it was pieced together and wouldn’t shut fully. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as I would like. Even though it said it was under construction it needed work.

Although the price was low *** for two nights, I was anticipating (based on the reviews) a friendly staff and clean/safe rooms.
The person that checked me in seemed irritated and distracted when giving me a key to my first room.
Upon opening the door to the room, I saw a space that had not been cleaned at all.
So, I went to the front desk and got a key to my second room. This room was clean but the bathtub wouldn't stop running.
So, I went to the front desk and got a key to my third room which seemed clean/doable.
I left to attend an event and came back later that evening. I went to open a window and it came right out of the frame. Same with the adjacent window. The only thing holding it in place/keeping it from falling outside was two nails in the side of the frame.
Although I should have requested a different room, I decided to settle feeling the next room would have a problem as well.
The night before I checked out (I was there May 22/23), I was stopped by police in the parking lot. They told me this hotel was amongst the worst in Syracuse and highly recommend not choosing it again.
