My husband and I normally love Hilton properties and choose them for their reliability, which is exactly why we booked the Spark by Hilton Syracuse Carrier Circle. We even gave them a second chance after a subpar first visit, but the second stay was absolutely repulsive. Housekeeping and maintenance here are doing their jobs well, completely tanking the Hilton reputation.First Stay:The lack of attention to detail was immediate. The interactive TV welcomed a completely different guest, and someone else’s clothes were still left inside the dresser drawers. The bathroom was even worse—the shampoo bottle was broken right off the wall, and there was no shower gel anywhere in the room. To top it off, the tub wouldn't drain, leaving me standing in 3 inches of dirty water while trying to shower. We reported all of these problems to the front desk person upon checkout, hoping they would fix them for future guests.Second Stay (The Final Straw):We foolishly decided to give them another shot, but the cleanliness of the second room was horrifying. There was urine all over the side, seat, and under the seat of the toilet, along with stray hair left in the shower. It took 15 minutes just for the water to get warm. This was an accessible room with a roll-in shower, but they provided no bath mat, leaving the tile floor dangerously slippery. The room was also missing basic washcloths, and fixtures were broken, including the control cover on the heater. My husband spoke directly to the hotel manager about this, as it is completely unacceptable.The Breakfast:Don’t count on the amenities. My husband went down for breakfast 10 minutes before closing, but they had already shut down entirely. They had nothing out and were completely out of basic items like orange juice.Management Response & Future:To his credit, the manager did offer us a refund for last night's stay, which we appreciated. If this location can actually correct these severe housekeeping and maintenance issues, we might consider staying here again in the future because we do like the brand. However, they have a lot of work to do.

Closed and now a Hilton Spark. Needs renovation. Elevators are janky. Will be nice when done I suspect.
