Location
Two nights in a row there was no hot water. Was told they had construction workers staying and they were all showering and the hot water heaters weren’t big enough to service everyone.
The first 2 days they provided clean towels, etc and made the beds. After that nothing.

Location and cleanliness of the room. The motel appears to have been renovated recently. TV was actually easy to use which isn’t always the case. Lobby does not have staff except when checking in after picking up the phone. No frills, only an automatic coffeemaker. But Dunkin and Chic-fil-a in the same parking lot.
The other rooms shower and plumbing was loud enough to wake me up both late night and early morning.

The location is ideal- conveniently located next to the Dunkin’ Donuts and Chick-fil-A, which makes it very easy when heading to the Virginia horse center every morning.
The asphalt parking lot is in shambles with large chunks of asphalt beneath where you are trying to park and stand, the rooms although we paid for non-smoking so strongly smelled of cigarette smoke that me and two other families went out and purchased an air purifier, Lysol room spray and allergy medicine after the first night of waking up with headaches and sinus congestion. There was never hot water in the three rooms where we stayed our shower was cool and miserable. The staff came in and made our beds each day and replaced the linens, but never took a moment to sweep or vacuum, even though our floor was filled with grit. I also hate the fabric shower curtain because water floods the bathroom floor and there really is no way to prevent it other than lining the floor with towels.
