Comfortable clean room, excellent staff
Breakfast was mediocre. Carton eggs are not good at all. But the sausage and potatoes were great

No cookies in the lobby. No freezer in the room but they had one in lobby.

La Quinta is usually a good choice. This one wasn't. The property needs better maintenance overall, and I do realize it's hard to find ppl who know what they're doing. My husband has owned & managed hotels and we get it. HOTELS NEED TO PAY THEIR MAINTENANCE PEOPLE twice what they offer these days! Same for the housekeepers. We have a huge problem with ownership that is all about profit and not about providing good jobs for their employees.
Our bathroom had peeling paint on the walls, shower was nearly impossible to turn on! Had to have the housekeeper show me that it worked before I reported that it didn't. I'm not dumb, and it was a crazy two-hand operation. Stupid.
