- staff were nice. For instance when I forgot my key card in the room during breakfast, they issued a new one with polite checking my identity
- location was convenient for my purpose. I was just transferring to Seqoia National Park, and this motel was located just outside of North Bakerfield, which is very close to the road to the park. Most importantly it was safe
just very minor things:
- breakfast is very simple. But this is a general thing in the US for Europeans,
- tiny walls, you can hear neighbors, but nothing too extensive
_ the gym was very simple even for US motels. Other La Quinta i stayed had at least bench and dumbells

Some of the friendliest staff I've met
The breakfast was subpar, the bathroom floor was so sticky that my shoes stuck to it. There were Birds building nests of mud against the entire outside of the building with hundreds of birds flying and nesting everywhere. I felt like I had to run so I didn't get pooped on. The room was extremely noisy even though it was facing the back part of the lot
