Nice play to stay in for a night

It was near downtown and was located in a quiet community. TV and internet worked well. Check-in was quick and smooth.

The walls were thin: couldn’t sleep well because i could hear the next door people’s voices and their doors shutting in the middle of the night.

Clean and although it’s an older motel, they’ve done upgrades to make it very comfortable and clean.

I wish the TV was slightly bigger or at least put on a swivel.

Good economy place to stay when visiting Hearst Castle

The facility was old and in good shape for its age, remodeled rather recently. The bed was VERY GOOD, it was very quiet and yet close to town. It is not a spa hotel, it is an economic place to stay and is pet friendly.

Overpriced for the room and location.

Originally the price but then they tacked on $40 for my dogs and threatened to charge $150 if I left them in the room alone. I had to sign a waiver. Either a property is pet friendly or it is not. This was not.

Dog fees and front desk staff. Extremely noisy neighbors. Very thin walls. Toilet ran throughout the night.

Great stay at Cambria Palms Motel

Friendly staff, clean room, easy walk to downtown, and the fire pit was a great bonus! Also liked the table and chairs, we were able to comfortably eat and play cards!

This is an old-school motel but nicely updated, good price, nice staff, VERY clean, very comfortable, GREAT shower, exactly what we needed for our visit to Cambria.

No reasonably located/useful electrical outlet in bathroom. There was one attached to the light above bathroom mirror, but I couldn’t use my hair dryer with it. (One in main room at table with mirror above worked fine, though.)

Perfect.

Everything was and went right. More than I expected. It had a little refrigerator which was a pleasant surprise. It had a Mr Coffee that allowed me to have hot water. The staff was very patient and efficient answering my questions when I arrived. I was able to check in earlier than the stated check in time - no hesitation. Parking very convenient. Loved the bathroom sink - very charming. Room was very roomy. I particularly liked their policy of not bothering with housekeeping for just a two night stand, until after final checkout.

Very, very minor. One auxiliary outlet on a nightstand light was dead, but there were enough to cover all my needs, once I took a minute to look around. That’s all I can think of.

Cambria palms motel

The location was good and shower water pressure.

The hotel staff called and sent messages asking for time of check-in unnecessarily. Made me think there was something wrong. Also the staff first declined to clean our room because of covid. The room smelled bad and was very humid. Would not stay there again.

1. It’s quite. 2 have 19 rooms 3. close to the Beach ( 5 minutes State Beach park )
