Nice atmosphere

Pool wasn’t clean

I liked the room and facilities. The breakfast had mainly things containing sugar, which are not of my style, there was some scrabbled egg 2 our of three mornings and some meat, which was good. Would like to see bacon as well, some tomato, or fruit salad. some boiled eggs, etc. I liked the TV and fridge.

Both rooms I stayed had a mold smell. The 2nd floor room I stayed had a blood stain on the roof over the bed, that should be painted white. The window was very foggy, you couldnt see outside, this also makes room look not well taken care of. The shower flow was very weak after a minute at 2nd room i stayed, i had to stay longer in the shower. At the first room I stayed the curtain rail was hanging slack from screws, so water was creating a lake on the floor. The pillows at first room i stayed were very hard/ overused, while at 2nd room were more fluffy. Coffee at breakfast was not nice, but that's all around Houston same. I would like to see some more big bins on the floors so people can throw their food remains without having the room smelling food all day. in breakfast yogurt contains corn starch, i would like to see greek natural yogurt and in general more protein in the breakfast.

The bedroom was clean and I didnt have any issues with the room itself.

The stairways were covered in large dead roaches for both days I stayed. Meaning nobody came around to clean them. The elevator was very sketchy and seemed to work very slowly. The hotel itself is actually fine for the price youre getting especially with the room we had we had no issues. The room you get actually surprised me for the price. It's just the area itself. You might not expect the area youre getting into with booking and yes its a little ghetto but dont book this hotel expecting nice areas and safe people. The gas station right across from the hotel seems to be falling apart and has constant homeless people roaming around. The entrance into the hotel alone is a little difficult considering theres a single gate to get in and one to get out (if you have the code). The entire area seems to be filled with trouble. Decent hotel but very sketchy area. If youre willing to spend a little less and not stay in the immediate area youre staying at truthfully id say this might be for you. If not and you want comfort all around then spend the little more for that. As a young male I didnt have many issues but my girlfriend was very uncomfortable with the area and after hearing her out I understand her and that this isn't the place for a romantic getaway so keep that in mind.
