Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Atlanta - Tucker Northlake by IHG

I liked the location.

I only had a problem with the mattress. It was too tall and hard.

Location and accessibility.

The room controls never seemed to be right. It was VERY humid in our room and never cooled to the temp it read. Slightly uncomfortable to sleep. The booking showed the room as having a "view". I guess that is subjective. If you like to look at the trees 25 ft out from the room. There really isn't a "view". The chase lounger would be better in the garbage. No cushion and you feel the wood ribbing when you sit on it.

It was for my daughter's 20th birthday. She was over the moon ❤️

There are no complaints. Everything was awesome 😎

I liked that it was close to where we needed to go. The air conditioning got cold and the shower was hot. 2 out of all the staff we encountered were helpful. When we needed additional towels and bedding to accommodate our group, we were given them right away. Breakfast was provided but we preferred a close breakfast spot.

The customer service was severely lacking most of the time. When we checked in the girl was more concerned with getting back to her conversation with another employee than checking me in and gave no direction other than to tell me to swipe my card and then silently handing my room keys. The elevator flooring was coming up and the pieces were just left in the middle of the floor. It wasn’t until we were leaving that a sign was posed in the elevator and the pieces stacked to the side. There was hair randomly around the bathroom (floors, counter, bathtub) when we checked in. It was also a smoke free facility, but our whole floor reeked of pot smoke for 2 of the days of our stay.
